First LMUG Event at the EVO Community Event on June 21st 2007

April 26, 2007

The first LMUG event will take place at Microsoft, Reading on June 21st 2007. This event is incorporated into the Community EVO (Exchange, Vista and Office) Event.

This event will be a chance for a user lead indulgence of everything EVO. We will be looking at things from a real world perspective, praising and criticising where necessary.

We will also have long enough breaks between sessions so that you can ask your technical questions to MVPs and Microsoft experts who will be available to help you.

More details will be announced shortly, but I am certainly looking forward to the event. It is a truly collaborative event with 10 user groups showcasing very cool and newly released products.. Aspects of the event will also be broadcast and recorded using Live Meeting and will also showcase the Live Meeting User Group.

April 18, 2007

I have setup an office on Second Life for the Live Meeting User Group (LMUG). Please feel free to drop by the office on Second Life, which I feel is an excellent tool to complement Live Meeting.

Signing up for Second Life is free. Once you make it into Second Life, be sure to drop by the LMUG HQ in the Yellow Park office (67,196,36).

If you would like help with Second Life, then leave a comment or IM and I would be pleased to help you get up and running fast.

What is the Live Meeting User Group

February 16, 2007

An Unassociation for the UK Live Meeting Ecosystem. The Live Meeting User Group is a collaboration forum primarily aimed for partners, resellers, developers and users of Live Meeting. The idea being an occasional social evening in London, combined with an online outlet for collaboration and support.

I would be very interested to hear from you if you use Live Meeting regularly. So please leave a comment.
